Offer a job to talents you have in mind to find out if they can take it on

Often when a job comes up, you already have a talent (or a few) in mind. Instead of playing email, Slack, or phone ping-pong to see if they are available and interested, you can offer the talent(s) the job directly via the platform.

When you offer a job, it also becomes part of your list of jobs, letting you manage the whole process and communication flow in one place.

To offer a job:

  1. Go to the Jobs page and click New job in the top right.

  2. Click Offer job.

  3. Fill in the details about the job and select the talent(s) you’d like to consider for the job.

  4. Review the job and then offer it!

What happens next?

  1. The talent(s) will get an email with the job details and will be asked to indicate whether: a) they’re available and interested in hearing more or b) they’re not available/interested.

  2. If a talent indicates that they’re interested, you can reach out to ask or answer questions, review criteria, etc.

  3. Once you’ve picked a talent, click Hire. At this point the job offer will be removed and will instead turn into an active job, which is sent to the talent for their acceptance.

If you have many jobs you wish to offer, you can import a spreadsheet of your jobs to offer them to multiple talents instead of one by one.
