With workflows, you can automate tasks that are typically manual

Once you start using Fiverr Enterprise regularly to manage your work with talents, you may find yourself doing similar tasks over and over, such as adding a custom field when you add a new talent so you can make a special note, sending a custom email to the talent or people at your company when a milestone’s status changes to a specific one, and so on.

Workflows are designed to automate all of those repetitive manual processes. By setting up workflows, you can see processes through from beginning to end, making sure no steps are missed while reducing human overload and error.

To create a workflow, you’ll be asked to set a trigger or prompt, which will activate the workflow, and the actions that follow.

Here are some examples of workflows:

  • When talent’s status changes then set custom field

  • When milestone status changes then send custom email

  • When compliance changes then send an email

  • When job is created then set custom field

The Workflow page

The Workflow page can be found within the Settings tab. This is where you can create new workflows and view (and edit, deactivate, or delete) existing ones in a table. Workspace admins will see the workflows for their workspace, while company admins will see all the workflows for their company.

To create a workflow, click the Create button on the Workflows page. In the top part, you’ll be able to name your workflow and define the workspaces to which it applies. Then you’ll be asked to set the trigger (“When this happens”) and the subsequent action.

You can add a condition to your workflow for another level of control. A condition is something that must be true in order for the automatic action to run, such as a talent having a certain status.

To add a condition, click on Add condition below the trigger. You’ll be asked to select a condition (“And the following is true”). Once a condition is set, the action will only occur when the trigger happens and the condition is true at the same time.

Workflows apply to an entire workspace (or multiple workspaces), but can only be created, edited, and viewed by workspace admins or company admins.
