Need to update a lot of talent profiles at once? You can do so by uploading a CSV listing the talents and the custom fields you would like to add or change on their profiles. (Note: You can’t make bulk edits via CSV to other fields, such as the talent’s first name or email address, only the custom fields.)

Here’s how to edit talent profiles using a CSV file:

  1. Fill in and upload your file

  • Download our template or create your own using the same format.

  • Make sure you have a column for each custom field you will be editing.

  • Fill in all required fields along with your talents’ updated custom fields, and upload the CSV.

  1. Review your talents and any errors

  • At this point, no talents have been updated yet.

  • Review:

    • Validated: Valid entries that look fine and are ready to be added as talents (whether individuals or companies)

    • Errors: Entries that have errors and need to be corrected so that the talents can be added.

  1. Confirm – Your talents’ fields will be updated and appear on their profiles.

To update talents’ profiles (whether individual talents or part of a company), import a CSV file in the following format:

Column name

Required or Optional

Comments

Talent email

Required

Custom field name

Optional

Enter the value of the custom field as you would like it to appear on talent profiles. For example, if the custom field is “Hobbies” and it currently says “Basketball,” you can delete “Basketball” and enter “Tennis” instead to replace it on the talent’s profile.

If the custom field should:

  • Only appear on individual talent profiles, enter, in parentheses, “Individual custom field”

  • Only appear for talents who are part of a company, enter, in parentheses, “Talents under company custom field”

  • Appear for both individual and company talents, enter, in parentheses, “Individual and company custom field”

Example: Provider ID (Individual and company custom field)
