If you’ve been using Stoke for a while, your account probably has a lot going on: lots of talents, lots of jobs, lots of milestones. That makes our hearts sing 🤩. But we know it can also make it harder to get the information you need. That’s why we’ve added lots of new features that are all about getting to your talents, jobs, and data faster and more easily.
View and sort your talents in a flash
Sometimes you need to drill down to specific talents quickly. We’ve added a new filter and column drawer in the talent directory. It lets you choose what info you want displayed in the directory and how to filter your talents—all in one place. To access it, go to the talent directory and click on “All filters” or the settings (gear) icon on the right-hand side.
Break down your milestones with line items
A single milestone can’t always cover the details of a job. When you need to get into the nitty-gritty—we’ve got you covered. You can now divide each milestone into smaller pieces or steps called line items. To add new ones, go to a milestone and click on the link that says “Add line items.” These are for your eyes only and are not visible to your talents.
Adding talents or jobs in bulk just got easier
Have lots of talents or jobs to add? CSV file templates save you time, letting you add them in bulk rather than one by one. Use the full template when you want to upload both talents and jobs all at once, or choose a specific template for your needs, like “Add talents,” and you’ll only see the columns for that type of upload, without the ones you don’t (e.g., only talent details, with no job-related columns).
Reports your way
Your reports are about to get more precise. Now instead of showing reports exclusively based on the milestone delivery date, you can choose the type of date you want to run your report by: date of approval, delivery, payment, and more. Go to the Reporting page, click on “Run report by,” and select the option that works best for your needs.
Other things you should know about:
Workspace admins can request new workspaces: Workspace admins can now ask to add a workspace by going to Settings > Users & workspaces and clicking “Add.” Their requests will be sent to the company admin for approval before the new workspace is created.
Complete jobs and delete all milestones at once: Until recently, you had to go over every “Active,” “Awaiting activation,” and “Budget request” milestone in a job and delete it before you could mark the job as complete. Now you can select “Mark completed” on a job, and the job’s milestones will be deleted automatically. Exception: If the job has milestones with the “Pending approval” status, it can’t be marked as complete.
