How to request payment in Fiverr Enterprise

At the end of the month or the end of the project, you can request your payment easily in Fiverr Enterprise

When you’ve completed your work or a milestone, it’s time to request payment, which will kick off the approval and payment process. Payment requests are done per milestone.

To request payment, go to the Jobs tab in Fiverr Enterprise. You can click on Request payment either from the job card on the Jobs page or from the milestone itself on the expanded view of the specific job. Make sure you are requesting payment for the correct milestone name. You can select existing milestones or create a new one by starting to type a milestone name.

From each milestone, you’ll be able to see the planned amount for this milestone set by the hiring manager (if they entered an amount). If the planned amount isn’t correct or the amount due to you ended up being higher (e.g., if you worked more hours, etc.), you can enter a different amount than the planned amount.

If there isn’t a milestone for your payment request, you can create a new one. From the expanded view of a specific job, click Request payment at the top of the screen above the milestones list and then enter the applicable details, such as the number of hours worked (for hourly jobs), the amount of work completed (for fixed rate jobs), and any taxes due, such as VAT. You can also add any expenses for the work you did by clicking Add expense and entering the amount.

You’ll be able to upload supporting documents and leave a comment for the hiring manager. Fiverr Enterprise will automatically generate an invoice for this milestone, but you can upload your own invoice to replace it.

When you’re finished, click Submit at the bottom of the screen.

After you submit the request, a message will be sent to your hiring manager, and the payment status will change to “Pending approval.” Once approved, your payment will start processing, and the status will change to “Approved.”

You’ll be able to track your payment’s status on the payment timeline on each milestone under "Track payment info.” It may take a few days for you to receive the payment in your account depending on your chosen payment method or if it’s a weekend.

If you submitted a request by accident or you notice that the information in the request is incorrect, you can delete the request and send a corrected version, as long as it hasn’t been approved yet by the hiring manager.
