A job is any work that a company is hiring you to complete. A job can be a one-time project or ongoing work.
Each job contains a title, description, engagement type, payment rate, company name, and hiring manager. A job may also include necessary attachments. Within the job card, you’ll also find a chat icon, where, when clicked, you can chat directly with the hiring manager about that job.
When the company hiring you assigns you a new job in Fiverr Enterprise, you will receive an email and it will appear on your job board, where you can accept or reject the job or communicate with the hiring manager to get more details.
The status of the job will change as you go through the job process as follows:
When you are first assigned a job, it has the “Awaiting acceptance” status.
Once you accept the job, the status changes to “Active.”
If there is no more work to do on a job, the hiring manager will change the job status to “Completed.”
About milestones
Each job in Fiverr Enterprise consists of milestones, which are a way to break up each project into deliverables or payments.
Each milestone is made up of:
The engagement type (e.g., hourly or fixed price)
The rate you’ll be paid for that engagement (hourly) or the full price (fixed)
The time frame (e.g., hourly, weekly, etc., along with the planned number of milestones for the job)
When you complete a milestone, you can request payment for the work you’ve completed by clicking on Request payment (found in the job card on the Jobs page or in the list of milestones). After you complete and submit the payment request, it will be sent to your hiring manager for approval.
Milestones can also have a few different statuses:
After you request payment, the milestone’s status changes to “Pending approval.”
When the hiring manager approves the request, it becomes “Approved.”
What you see in the Jobs tab
This page shows all your active and completed jobs, as well as new jobs that are waiting for you to accept them.
There’s a card for each job, where you can see basic details (such as title, company name, hiring manager, etc.), request payment, and review milestones. Clicking the card opens an expanded view of the job.
In the expanded view you’ll be able to see the job's details and attachments, including all of its milestones, as well as chat with the hiring manager via the chat icon to get more details about the job or have your questions answered.
You can also request payment for existing milestones, create new milestones, see the status of your milestones, track their payment status, and upload attachments related to your payment request.
