From chatting with talents and checking their availability to jotting down important notes about them (hint hint: vacation season is upon us…), here are new features that help you stay on top of your talents without having to, say, take the conversation over to your dreaded inbox.
Job or no job—you can chat!
Want to see if a talent is available for a job or smooth out some details? You can now chat with any talent in your talent directory, without it being tied to a specific job. You can also add other users to the conversation. To start a chat, go to the talent’s profile and click the chat icon under the talent’s name and main details.
Make an offer
Sometimes a job and a certain talent go together like peanut butter and jelly. When that’s the case, you can offer the job to the talent (or a few different talents) directly through Stoke, instead of emailing or messaging back and forth. The talent(s) will get all the details about the job by email and can indicate whether they can take it on or not. You’ll see their responses in Stoke and can then hire them.
Manage your jobs better
We’ve made several changes to the Jobs page to help you stay on top of your jobs:
We added a search field, so you can search for the job title or name of a milestone.
You can now set milestones to “biweekly,” which will cause the milestone to repeat every two weeks.
Workflows doing even more work
Workflows previously had to be defined across a company or for a specific workspace (and recreated for additional workspaces). Now you can set a single workflow to apply to multiple workspaces.
We’ve also added:
New triggers:
When the talent meets all legal, tax, and payment compliance
When billing (your invoice due to Stoke) is available
New action:
Call to API: Send details from Stoke (e.g., about billing, talents, jobs, etc.) to other tools and platforms automatically through a workflow.
More control over the custom email that gets sent:
You can add your custom fields as placeholders within the email and their content will appear in the email
You can choose to have the talent’s invoice be automatically attached to the email when the talent requests payment
