Set up custom fields to customize your talent profiles, jobs, and milestones

Add custom fields to talent profiles, jobs, and milestones to include details and data that are important to you.

You can create your own custom fields or choose from our predefined ones. (You can also hide predefined fields if you don’t want to use them.)

To add custom fields, go to the Settings page and choose Custom fields in the sidebar. Click Create custom field in the top-right corner of the page.

When setting up your custom field, you’ll need to:

  • Define whether it applies to individuals and companies, talents within a company, jobs, or milestones

  • For jobs and milestones, choose whether the custom field applies to all workspaces or one specific workspace

  • Choose whether your talents will be able to view the custom field

  • Create your own custom field or use a predefined one

  • Select a field type. We currently support:

    • Text: Enter free text

    • Tags: Create a tag with a label or keyword

    • Numbers: Enter a number

    • Checkbox: Add a checkbox that can be checked or unchecked

    • Users: Select people from your workspace

    • Email: Enter an email address

Access permissions:

  • Creating custom fields:

    • Company admins can create custom fields for all workspaces.

    • Workspace admins can create custom fields for their workspaces.

  • Viewing and can editing custom fields:

    • Workspace members can view and edit fields based on the permission settings selected during setup.

    • Talents can view custom fields if this option is selected during setup. Talents can’t edit custom fields.
